Terms of Service

These terms explain how HandyMinder can be used, what you can expect from the app, and what responsibilities apply when you create an account or use the service.

Last updated: 18 June 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using HandyMinder. By creating an account, starting a trial, signing in, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use HandyMinder.

1. About HandyMinder

HandyMinder is a digital job diary and job management tool built for handymen, tradespeople and small job-based workers. It helps users organise jobs, customers, payments, notes, calendar information, images and upcoming income.

HandyMinder is designed to support your work organisation, but it does not replace your own judgement, business records, accounting software, legal advice or professional financial advice.

2. Your account

To use certain features, you may need to create an account and provide accurate information such as your name, email address, business details and preferences. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You should contact us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Free trial, pricing and billing

HandyMinder may offer a free trial so you can test the app before paying. Where stated, no credit card is required to start the free trial.

Pricing is displayed on the pricing page and may change over time. If you are on an early access, discounted or manually managed plan, subscription changes, renewals, cancellations or payment questions may be handled manually through support.

You are responsible for making sure any subscription or payment information you provide is accurate and up to date.

4. Cancelling or changing your plan

You can request to cancel or change your plan by contacting HandyMinder support. If payments are handled manually, changes may not be instant and may require confirmation from us.

Unless required by law or clearly agreed otherwise, payments already made may not be refundable for periods where access has already been provided.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use HandyMinder to:

  • break any law or regulation;
  • upload harmful, illegal, abusive or misleading content;
  • attempt to access another person’s account or data;
  • interfere with, damage, overload or reverse engineer the service;
  • use the app in a way that could harm HandyMinder, other users or the platform.

6. Your content and files

You may add job details, customer information, notes, images, files or other business-related content into HandyMinder. You remain responsible for the information you add, including making sure you have the right to store and use it.

You should not upload sensitive information unless it is necessary for your work and you are comfortable storing it in the app. HandyMinder may remove content that appears unsafe, illegal or in breach of these terms.

7. Accuracy of information

HandyMinder helps you record and organise information, but you are responsible for checking that job details, customer records, payments, balances, dates and income figures are correct.

We are not responsible for business losses caused by incorrect information entered by you, missed updates, user error or decisions made using incomplete records.

8. Availability and changes to the app

We aim to keep HandyMinder available and working properly, but we cannot guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. Maintenance, updates, technical issues or third-party service problems may affect access.

We may improve, change, add or remove features over time, especially while the app is in early release or active development.

9. Third-party services

HandyMinder may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, email, analytics or other technical functions. These services may have their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services outside our control, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep the app stable and secure.

10. Intellectual property

HandyMinder, including the app design, branding, layout, text, visuals and software, belongs to HandyMinder or its owners/licensors. You may use the app for your own business purposes, but you may not copy, resell, reproduce or misuse the platform without permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HandyMinder is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, missed jobs or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

12. Ending access

We may suspend or terminate access to HandyMinder if you breach these terms, misuse the app, fail to pay where payment is required, or use the service in a way that may harm the platform or other users.

You may stop using HandyMinder at any time. If you want your account closed or need help with account data, contact support.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of HandyMinder after changes means you accept the updated terms.

14. Contact

For questions about these terms, your account, billing or the app, contact HandyMinder through the contact page.
